Pre photo shoot last minute checks

This list is limited to the last minute checks that I would ordinarily do as part of a photoshoot. A more extensive, preparing your home for sale document can be found here.

To minimise my interaction with your property you may wish to do some of the things from the list beloe before my arrival, while CV19 restrictions remain in place.

Bedrooms

• Draw back the curtains and use any tie backs. Check that the folds fall neatly.
• If you have venitian blinds, put them down and open the slats to a horizontal position.
• Remove robes, towels and coats from the back of doors.
• Empty or remove the bin.
• Switch on all lights and bedside lamps

  Bathrooms
  

• Remove all soaps and bottles from the shower.
• Remove tooth brushes, paste, shaving equipment etc.
• Remove robes & towels from the back of doors.
• Put the toilet lid down
• Fold the end of the toilet roll into a triangle.
• Empty or remove the bin.
• Remove all towels and bath mats.
• Switch on the lights.

  Kitchen

• Clear worksurfaces of papers, envelopes, phone chargers, keys etc.
• Remove calenders, fridge magnets or similar.
• Switch on lights, lamps and spot lighting

  Lounge

• Plump and arrange cushions neatly
• Draw back the curtains and use any tie backs. Check that the folds fall neatly.
• If you have venitian blinds, put them down and open the slats to a horizontal position.
• Switch on lights and lamps

  Home Office

• Put away all papers and post-its.
• Empty or ideally remove the bin.
• Switch on lights and lamps.
